Buying

Requirements

Renting a property can be an ideal solution in many situations. Before you rent a property through Ross Estates, we will take up references on behalf of the landlord, which will include an employer’s reference or three months wage slips, photographic ID, and a recent bank statement in aid to complete a credit and reference check.

Where a tenant is unable to meet the required income or credit checks, you will be asked to provide a Guarantor to underwrite any rent liabilities.

Before the credit and reference checks can be carried out a non refundable deposit of £200 + VAT is required. The deposit secures the property until your credit and referencing are completed. Once the landlord is satisfied you are required to pay the equivalent of two month’s rent upfront, which will cover your first month’s rent and your damage deposit. Your damage deposit will be refunded to you at the end of your tenancy if the property is in the same condition as when you moved in.
